Role Summary

Morins Exteriors is seeking an experienced installer to work primarily on replacement windows, exterior doors, and residential siding projects.

You will be responsible for removing existing windows, doors, and exterior materials and installing new products accurately, securely, and with close attention to weatherproofing, fit, finish, and appearance.

The role will also include exterior trim, flashing, gutters, and related installation work as required, but the primary focus is on windows, doors, and siding.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential exterior remodeling who understands the importance of accurate measurements, proper flashing and sealing, clean finish work, and protecting the customer's home throughout the installation process.

Primary Duties

  • Remove and install replacement windows and exterior doors on residential properties.
  • Ensure windows and doors are installed square, level, plumb, properly insulated, sealed, flashed, and weatherproofed.
  • Install steel siding, vinyl siding, exterior trim, soffit, fascia, flashing, and related exterior materials.
  • Complete detailed finish work around windows, doors, siding transitions, and exterior openings.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately.
  • Identify and address installation issues involving openings, framing, flashing, water intrusion, or existing exterior conditions.
  • Install seamless gutter systems and downspouts when required.
  • Protect customer property and maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
  • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, rooflines, and other elevated areas.
  • Record hours, materials, and project updates using JobNimbus and QuickBooks Workforce.
  • Work closely with other crew members to complete projects efficiently and to Morins Exteriors' quality standards.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience installing residential windows, exterior doors, siding, or completing closely related exterior remodeling work.
  • Strong understanding of proper window and door installation, including measuring, leveling, shimming, insulation, flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing.
  • Experience installing steel siding, vinyl siding, trim, soffit, fascia, or similar exterior systems is strongly preferred.
  • Strong measuring, layout, cutting, fitting, and finish skills.
  • Ability to recognize and resolve common installation issues around window and door openings.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing clean, durable finished work.
  • Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a crew.
  • Willing and able to learn digital systems, including JobNimbus and QuickBooks Workforce.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
  • Physically able to carry materials and ladders, work safely at heights, and perform active exterior installation work throughout the day.
